Scholarship Application

--External Scholarships (for foreign students with domestic student status)-- 

  • Chinese Language Scholarship: According to the "Ministry of Education Chinese Language Scholarship Guidelines," our center offers a monthly scholarship of NT$25,000 for foreign students. 
  • Taiwan Scholarship: According to the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan Scholarship Guidelines," our center provides a monthly scholarship of NT$28,000 for foreign students with high school (or above) education and excellent academic performance.

--Internal Scholarships--

  • Chinese language preparatory students who pass various levels of Chinese language proficiency tests in listening and reading during the preparatory period can apply for internal scholarships: 
    • Basic level (TOCFL A2): Eligible for a scholarship of NT$5,000. 
    • Intermediate level (TOCFL B1): Eligible for a scholarship of NT$8,000. 
    • Advanced level (TOCFL B2): Eligible for a scholarship of NT$10,000. 
  • Foreign students admitted through the Chinese Language Center and completing registration will have their tuition and fees halved for the first semester. If their academic and conduct grades are both above 80 in the previous semester, their tuition and fees will be halved for the following semester, up to the second semester of their second year. However, if students suspend their studies during the scholarship period, the scholarship will no longer be provided upon resumption.
